Chronic pain maps align with the rest of my art and research work focusing on endometriosis, invisible disability, and gender health gap. The floating shapes represent reproductive organs and the fluidity of chronic illnesses experience. My aim is to create a playful narrative of a serious topic of suffering and how one's experience of pain is often situated and constructed within wider power structures (therefore the reflective surfaces).
